Community Gratitude from Local Non-Profits

We wanted to share with you some special Thank You notes our repair shop - Paradise Tire and Service - has received this year for its annual "Change Oil, Change Lives" fundraiser as well as Thank You letter to Lisa for her philanthropy through Impact 100 Martin.

The "Change Oil, Change Lives" fundraiser dedicates one Wednesday a month to sponsor a local non-profit organization.  The total proceeds from every oil change we sell that day are donated to the non-profit.  Paradise Tire and Service has conducted this fundraiser for the past four years and loves that it has the ability to promote and support so many of our local non-profits.  Some of the non-profits that have benefited from this fundraiser include the YMCA of the Treasure Coast, Habitat for Humanity of Martin County, Quit Doc Research & Education Foundation, Tykes and Teens, House of Hope, and Floridians Fighting Falls.

Impact 100 Martin, is an organization founded last year by 100 women in and around Martin County.  The goal of the group is to raise $100,000 to donate to a local non-profit in Martin County.  The 2017-2018 inaugural award of $100,000 was given to Project LIFT.  "Project LIFT engages at-risk teens by replacing negative behaviors with positive tools, so they make healthy life decisions and become independent, productive members of our community."  - Founder and Executive Director, Bob Zaccheo.

There are so many local non-profits in Martin County and our surrounding areas that tirelessly work to make our communities better and to provide services that many of our residents need.  These organizations work hand-in-hand to ensure their efforts are not duplicated. Several of them, like House of Hope and Habitat for Humanity, operate local thrift stores that are always looking for donations.  Please consider donating your time, money, or household items to these local causes.
